Li Lok Yan was born in Hong Kong in 1999. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) first class in Fine Art at Birmingham City University in 2020.

Li loves art-making since childhood, including sketching, oil painting, ink drawing and photography. Her acknowledgement of artistic mind was taught by her first teacher, Saim Kondak.

Her origin of art-making is significantly inspired by Japanese anime. Influenced by that, the medium she majorly chooses is digital drawing. Besides, she shows a strong interest in character designs and worldviews created in anime works. Her goal as an artist is to publish works in form of manga, animation and illustrations, which can present her inner world and imaginations in a funny way through stories.

Regarding the career plan, she positively searches for jobs that are relevant to what she learnt. Since she hopes her digital art skills could be applied and enhanced throughout her career, a position in digital art and design would be the prior choice. Moreover, she has a great passion to widen her new IT skills in her career, such as planning to learn further on Adobe After Effect and other tools for UI design.
